中华优秀民俗文化是中华民族的基因，植根在中国人民内心，是中国共同的精神寄托和精神家园。民俗文化源于生活，与儿童的现实生活状态紧密相连，并以幼儿喜闻乐见的形式存在于幼儿的生活之中。然而，在经济迅猛发展的今天，中国传统文化受到了外来文化的严重冲击。随着学前教育的普及，又凭借其独特民族性的艺术文化，幼儿园的课程设置与开发当然要与时俱进，因地制宜。幼儿园课程要挖掘当地优秀民俗文化，推进幼儿园课程本土化。当前幼儿教育模式创设现代化本土化环境，集体教学与区域活动引入民族民间游戏。推进幼儿园教育资源本土化，不能远离幼儿生活，满足儿童实际需求，教师合理合情的选择设置课程内容。
